International Market Place is home to many local eateries featuring all types of tastes and experiences. A few restaurants located in the marketplace will be participating in Food-A-Go-Go Restaurant Week from April 5-19. Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi, Shorefyre, Mitsuwa, Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats, and Kona Coffee Purveyors will each be offering a unique selection or dish representing the many types of food in the marketplace.
Starting the collection with a rich and delicious dish, Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi is offering their Pono Pork Ragout with Pearl Onions & Fettuccine for $22. Shorefyre’s Kalua Pig Wrap, a local favorite, will be offered at a discount and available for $14.50. The wrap includes slow roasted kalua pork, shredded cabbage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, red bell peppers, and crispy bacon and is drizzled in tasty Shorefyre sauce. To add another taste to the International Marketplace experience, try Mitsuwa’s Special Sashimi Bento for $19.99 and 10% discount on special, shrimp, original bowl and plate at the new tempura pop-up, Azasu.
After trying a wide range of flavors, visit Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats and Kona Coffee Purveyors for a sweet finish. Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats is offering their mini, regular, and Super Duper size Halo-Halo for 20% off! This layered ice cream dessert comes in all kinds of flavors. The Mahalo-halo, a best seller, comes with ube ice cream and pinipig (crispy rice) on top of banana, macapuno (coconut strings), Azuki beans, Mongo beans, Langka (jackfruit), Kaong (date palm jelly), and Nata de Coco (coconut gel) layers. Kona Coffee Purveyors is bringing their Kouign Amann Sundaes to Restaurant Week. The Classic Kouign is a traditional chocolate sundae with gelato, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and chopped nuts.
